The Benicia Certified Farmers Market has officially closed its 32nd season
We want to thank all the shoppers, vendors, staff and volunteers who made this market possible. We saw lots of happy faces and full shopping bags. We also had lots of new vendors join us this season, bringing you a variety of fresh and prepackaged food options to compliment your fruit and veggie purchases.
The community support for the market has been amazing. During the month of October, we invited our local nonprofit community organizations to setup at one of our markets for no charge. We finished the season on October 24 with a “Haunted Farmers Market” which featured vendors in costume, seasonal treats and spooky music.
ABOUT THE MARKET: Located on First Street between B and D Streets, the seasonal market offers farm fresh produce along with arts and crafts vendors, specialty foods, baked goods, and numerous gourmet food vendors. Children can enjoy activities like face painting and the inflatable bounce house on the First Street Green (weather permitting).
Market hours run from 4-8pm (April-August) and 4-7pm (September-October).
