Housed in a historic train depot built in the late 1800’s, our gift shop & visitor center offers a glimpse inside Benicia’s history. There was once an era when train cars were transported by ferry to and from Port Costa from the depot.

Today, the depot serves as the Benicia Main Street office and visit center. We currently sell See’s Candies plus a variety of Benicia merchandise, local art, and memorabilia. It’s also where shoppers can purchase Downtown Dollars, our “shop local” gift certificates accepted at over 70 merchants in Downtown Benicia.
